The Eurasia Center and the Friendship Society of Washington, DC Invite you and your friends to: Russian Valentine's Day and Russian Mardi Gras Party Maslenitsa We call it Mardi Gras, Europe calls it Carnival, it is time to come and celebrate - - Maslenitsa is a sun festival, celebrating the imminent end of the Winter and the Beginning of Spring! Plus it is a great time to celebrate Valentine's Day a little earlier in the Russian style! Friday, February 12th - 7:00 p.m.-11 p.m. Art Exhibition of Alexey Zoob It is time to celebrate Valentine's Day with a very talented Artist from Russia, Alexey Zoob, who creates such beautiful and colorful worlds... Originally from the Urals, Alexey Zoob will be present at the opening reception of this art exhibition.
