A world opera star Timur Abdikeyev touring the US with the Mariinsky Opera and Orchestra will make an exclusive performance for the Russian Cultural Centre audience.

Timur Abdikeyev will perform arias by Rimsky-Korsakov`s “Sadko”, Rossini`s "Il Barbiere di Siviglia" as well as popular pieces by Yahin, Malashkin, Curtis and Falvo. A meet-the- artist reception will follow the performance.

Since his first appearances on stage Timur Abdikeyev earned recognition of professionals of the opera world and music lovers. Strong voice with a timbre of rare beauty and brilliant drama talent moved the singer to the row of the brightest artists of the new generation.
In 2002 Timur Abdikeyev made his opera debut in world famous Mariinsky Theater. It was followed by more than 30 roles performed on the glorious stage. Among them are Raimondo in "Lucia di Lammermoor", Bartolo in "Le Nozze di Figaro", Don Prudenzio in "Il Viaggio a Reims", Simone in "Gianni Schicchi", Gektor in "Lez Troyenz", Zuniga in "Carmen". Artist`s repertoire includes roles of Filippo "Don Carlo", Basilio in "Barbiere di Siviglia", Prince Gremin in "Eugeny Onegin".
In seasons of 2004-2007 Timur Abdikeyev has toured with Mariinsky company in Opera Bastille of Paris (2005), Royal Opera of Sweden (2004), theatre "Real" of Madrid (2006-2007), Festspielehaus of Baden-Baden (2007), he has sung in recitals with Vladimir Galuzin, Maria Guleghina, Nikolay Putilin, Anna Netrebko, Ferrucio Furlanetto under conducting of Valery Gergiev, Giannandrea Nozeda, Keri-Lynn Wilson and other stars of the opera world.
Artist successfully tours with Solo recitals. In September of 2004 Timur Abdikeyev gave his first Solo Recital in Suntory hall of Tokyo. Big success of the event started solo concert career of Timur Abdikeyev. Since then the geography of his solo concerts is enlarging constantly, already including Italy, England, Germany, France, Japan, Latvia, Russia, Turkey, Azerbaijan and Tatarstan.
Today Timur Abdikeyev lives in St-Petersburg; he performs worldwide in theatric recitals and with solo concerts.
